Let’s Raise Awareness and Shatter breast cancer

Trade Secrets is committed to living in a world sans breast cancer. That’s why we support initiatives that are not only dedicated to improving awareness, but also committed to research that will one day find a cure. Last month (and every September for the last 6 years), we walked our hearts out at the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers and raised over $82,000 in support of groundbreaking research, clinical enhancements, and programs to aid breast and gynaecologic cancer survivors. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’ve partnered up with Essie, Flare Magazine and OPI to support the cause.

Essie and Flare Magazine introduce Essie Raise Awareness, a creamy candy pink and limited edition nail polish that supports women battling breast cancer. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of Essie Raise Awareness will be donated to Look Good Feel Better, an organization that looks to improve the self-image of the strong ladies battling the disease through cosmetic workshops.

Oh and by the way, Essie Raise Awareness is exclusive to salons.

Overtop of Essie Raise Awareness is a layer of OPI’s Pink Shatter – Pink of Hearts, in support Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada. OPI will also be making a donation of $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer to support research and treatments. And for every bottle of OPI Pink Shatter sold, Trade Secrets will donate $1 to Breast Cancer Research.

During the month of October, customers can also donate 20 cents to breast cancer research or purchase pink merchandise (TS/GS donates all proceeds to Breast Cancer Research). We would like to thank you in advance for your contributions!
