Spread good karma with Buddha Balm

{Buddha Balm Orange Ginger, Buddha Balm Burnt Sugar Fig, Buddha Balm Crushed Mint Pineapple and Buddha Balm Lychee Pomegranate}

In Know What’s In Your Beauty Products, I listed 8 ingredients commonly found in beauty products that can be detrimental to your health. And as the beauty community becomes more conscious of their effects, it’s critical that we demand products that positively impact our beauty on the inside as well as on the outside.

I’ve struggled with the search to find the perfect lip balm for quite some time. It seems as though every product I’ve tried leaves my lips feeling dry and looking overly shiny. That’s why when I saw these new Buddha Balm lip balms on my desk this morning, I could feel my lips begin to smile.

Featured in MAXIM Magazine, and on MTV’s The Hills and Today, Buddha Balm is a soy-based lip balm that is paraben, preservative and petroleum free. Personally, I’m excited for the petroleum-free aspect of this lip balm because, who really wants to have oil on their lips? I’d rather go to my local gas station to get some of that. Rich in vitamins, nutrients and essential fatty acids, Buddha Balm contains chemical-free zinc oxide that acts as a barrier against harmful UV rays. And Buddha Balm comes in a convenient and handy tube so you won’t have to get your fingers covered in lip balm during application.

Buddha Balm contains good stuff like Soybean Oil, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E and Shea Butter, and is not tested on animals. My favourite is Lychee Pomegranate (as shown below). As you can see, it gives my lips a subtle shine and does not change the base colour of my lips.

Buddha Balm is currently available in four yummy flavours: Orange Ginger, Burnt Sugar Fig, Lychee Pomegranate and Crushed Mint Pineapple. Visit your local Trade Secrets / Glamour Secrets to learn about Buddha Balm today and spread good karma!
