O.P.I Swiss Collection
A frequent globetrotter, O.P.I has been inspired by countries and cultures from all over the world. In the past, several O.P.I collections have mirrored the sights, sounds and traditions of Hong Kong, New York City, Russia, Mexico and even our own British Columbia.
In their Fall 2010 Collection, O.P.I takes us on a European journey through the mountains, valleys and flatlands of beautiful Switzerland. Known for its picturesque landscape, gorgeous 4.8 km Alpine peaks and sparkling lakes, Switzerland is a European paradise. Experience the beauty of the Alps and all the gems Switzerland has to offer with O.P.I’s Swiss Collection this fall!
The
12-piece collection contains a mixture of crèmes and shimmers in a variety of shades ranging from red (the colour of the Swiss flag), green, blue, metallic purple, silver and gold. Like all your O.P.I favourites, the Swiss Collection
does not contain DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde. And each shade includes O.P.I’s exclusive
Prowide Brush for quick and easy application.
"Switzerland provided the inspiration for this season, with a backdrop of snow-peaked mountains, lush glacial valleys, and glittering lakes," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, O.P.I Executive VP & Artistic Director. Shades like Glitzerland, Yodel Me on My Cell and Diva of Geneva remind us of Swiss culture and the tranquility of the Swiss Alps.
"The Swiss Collection features the same relaxed luxury that walked the fashion runways, where timeless shades of black, camel and cream were met with a wealth of jewelled emerald, sapphire, and gold," explains Weiss-Fischmann. "Wearing these colours on fingers and toes will accessorize the season's must-have pieces – from masculine-inspired tailored jackets contrasted with ultra-feminine dresses to beautiful bohemian garments with toughened touches of leather," she added.
