Conquer Cancer - 2010 Fire Fighters Charity Calendar Events
Trade Secrets are one of few retailers with exclusive rights to sell the Fire Fighters Charity Calendars from our stores and help raise money directly for The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation benefiting the Cancer Research Fund.
Herbie Fund
The Herbie Fund provides financial support for children in need of surgical treatment at SickKids. SickKids physicians waive their fees so every dollar raised goes directly to the treatment to help a child.

Trade Secrets gladly supports The SickKids Foundation to help a child and their families in need.
Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada
Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a world of difference to seriously ill children and their families. They offer support and education to these children, while providing the opportunity to improve their quality of life through family activities and special events.
The Canadian Cancer Society - Cops for Cancer Fundraiser
Trade Secrets hairstylists have volunteered with the Cops for Cancer Fundraiser by cutting, dying and shaving Police Officers hair. Police Officers collect pledges from family and friends and donate to the Cops for Cancer and The Canadian Cancer Society.
The Weekend to End Breast Cancer Fundraising & The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation
Trade Secrets staff, family and friends joined thousands to help find a cure for breast cancer. In a bold display of courage and commitment, women and men walked 60 kilometers to help bring awareness to this devastating disease, as well as raise funds for its cure.
Not only does breast cancer affect those afflicted with the disease, but their family and friends as well. During this event, we helped support those with cancer, honored lives lost and celebrated survivors.

Trade Secrets Customer Network Benefitting Local Women's Causes
Trade Secrets stores across the country participate in the ‘Give + Take’ campaign. When customers bring in used styling appliances, they’ll receive 50% off the purchase of a GS Professional Flat Iron or Blowdryer. The appliances collected during the campaign will be distributed to local women’s charities throughout Canada. The donated styling appliances will provide many women with little luxuries not otherwise available to them.
The Give+Take campaign is in its third year, and has proven to be successful at both store and community levels.
United Way
Trade Secrets is a proud sponsor of United Way and all funds are used for much needed community organizations and initiatives.

The Children's Aid Foundation of York Region was created to enrich and expand the services to children in our community.
